MACON,Ga. — Middle Georgia’s 21st Center Partnership held a quarterly meeting on Monday that marked a change in leadership for the group.

The group highlighted the “1,200 jobs in 12 months” initiative, which it said has currently filled over 500 jobs, and announced that Rob Brooks is stepping down as chairman.

Brooks will reportedly be replaced by Cox Communications’ Business Vice President Dan Slagle.

“The opportunity to serve the airmen, both civilian and military, at Robins Air Force Base and to support the community, it’s really been a honor and a privilege and very exciting for me to have that chance to meet a lot of great folks see some neat things get to travel around to other bases see the inner workings of Robins,” said Brooks.
