WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – The 21st Century Partnership is proud to announce today the addition of four new individuals to the Partnership team; two to the Advisory Committee and two to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.

“Each of these individuals bring an impressive and much needed set of skills to the Partnership,” said Rob Brooks, Chairman, 21st Century Partnership. “We are very fortunate to live in an area where our community leaders support our base and are willing to donate their time, talent and treasure to ensure the long-term success of Robins AFB and Middle Georgia.”

Retired Air Force Maj. Gen. William Buck Waldrop and Retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Thomas “Moose” Moore have both agreed to serve on the Advisory Committee.

Gen. Waldrop is the former Vice Commander of Air Force Reserve Command, located on Robins Air Force Base.  The command is responsible for the daily operations of 70,000 Citizen Airmen and more than 300 aircraft among three Numbered Air Forces, 33 flying wings, 10 flying groups and one space wing. He is currently a pilot with United Airlines.

Gen. Moore is the former Assistant Adjutant General, Air National Guard, Georgia, responsible for the Georgia State Air Guard Staff and command of 2800 Georgia Air Guard members serving in two flying wings, seven geographically separated units and a Combat Readiness Training Center. He currently serves as the Deputy Director, Georgia Emergency Management/Homeland Security for the State of Georgia.

The Advisory Committee is a group of eight former senior leaders from within the Department of Defense. These individuals meet on a regular basis to address issues and concerns about Robins AFB and the Department of Defense and provide advice and counsel to the Partnership staff.

We are also pleased to announce the addition of Retired Air Force Colonel Patricia Ross and Dan Slagle to the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is the leadership body of the Partnership and is made up of sixteen community leaders with various backgrounds from throughout Middle Georgia. This group meets quarterly and as needed to address issues that affect the community and Robins AFB.

Col. Ross is the former Deputy Commander, 78 Air Base Wing, Robins Air Force Base and is currently the Executive Director of the Georgia Veteran Education Career Transition Resource Center, or VECTR Center in Warner Robins.

Slagle is the Director of Operations, Florida-Georgia, Cox Business, LLC and has recently served as Chairman of the Macon Chamber of Commerce and the Macon Economic Development Council.  Slagle previously served on the Partnership Board of Directors.
