Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies, action plans, and budgets to enable achievement of the goals stated above.

Develop and lead fund-raising efforts that provide for the financial solvency of the Partnership.

Regularly communicate Partnership goals, issues, needs, and activities with the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, general members and the Middle Georgia / RAFB community.   Effectively translate and communicate the missions, activities, and terminology of events related to RAFB into clear and actionable information for members of the Partnership and communities less familiar with military processes and terminology.

Develop and coordinate activities throughout the Middle Georgia region that ensure a robust, cohesive, and vibrant support posture for Robins AFB.

Collaborate with the Partnership’s associate organizations (i.e. Chambers of Commerce; Development Authorities, Clean Air Coalition, Middle Georgia Military Affairs Committee, Aerospace Industry Committee, etc.) to address the mission and goals of Robins AFB and the Partnership.

Continuously identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to Robins AFB and corresponding mitigation and capture strategies.

Develop and coordinate an advocacy program at the local, regional, state, and national level for Robins AFB and the 21st Century Partnership.

Serve as the Partnership’s primary spokesperson with local civic organizations and the media and regularly communicate Partnership goals and activities.






























Serve as the Partnership’s primary liaison with the RAFB Wing Commander, the tenant unit Commanders (ALC, AFRC, JSTARS, AFLCMC, 5th CCG, etc.), and union leaders.

Serve as the Partnership’s primary liaison with leadership personnel/staff in higher USAF organizations responsible for RAFB activities (SECAF, CSAF, AFMC, AFSC, etc.)

Serve as the Partnership’s primary liaison with the offices of Congressional, State, and local elected officials and regularly communicate Partnership goals, issues, and needs.

Coordinate and communicate with organizations similar to the Partnership at the other AFSC installations, and at other military installations in Georgia.

Develop annual work plans and budgets as part of the planning and budgeting process and present recommendations to the Executive Committee.

Develop appropriate policy recommendations for the Executive Committee

Ensure the Partnership business is conducted within existing by-laws and recommend by-law changes as necessary.

Mentor and guide Partnership staff members.

 Minimum Qualifications

Superb Leadership Skills

Communications skills – one to one, public speaking, and written

Interpersonal Skills

Willingness to lead fundraising efforts

Military Currency

o   The ability to work with senior military leaders,

o   Familiarity with the Pentagon and Air Staff functional areas

o   A broad understanding of the Logistics Complex and the sustainment interface with acquisition.

College Degree Required
