WARNER ROBINS, Ga — Georgia Military College and the 638th Supply Chain Management Group at Robins Air Force Base have partnered to offer internship opportunities for students.

GMC and the 638th signed an Memorandum of Understanding which will offer the internship to students at GMC’s Warner Robins campus. The goal of the partnership is not just to provide students with working opportunities but also to enhance the workforce of Robins Supply Chain Management.

Students will be trained by the 638 all while earning Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics and the opportunity can lead to a full time job after graduation.

“This internship is a really great opportunity for our BAS Supply Chain Management students,” said Regional Director for GMC’s Central Region, Ted Ramsdell. “They will receive work experience and training that will help them obtain a job after graduation, potentially at Robins Air Force Base. To be able to graduate with a BAS degree and already have real-life experience in your career field is huge. This partnership will benefit our students, Robins AFB, and our community.”

This is GMC’s first Memorandum of Understanding providing internship opportunities for students in GMC’s Bachelor of Applied Science degree programs.
