Honoree nominations sought for RAFB Airman’s Memorial

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – The call for honoree nominations for the 2021 Robins Air Force Base Airman’s Memorial Service is underway.

As a tribute to deceased Team Robins military or civilian members, the annual Airman’s Memorial Service is scheduled for 9 a.m. May 27 in the Museum of Aviation’s Century of Flight Hangar. A memorial service was not held in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For this year’s event, individuals who passed away between May 2019 and now, are eligible to be nominated if they ever served at Robins AFB.

Col. Brian Moore, Robins Installation Commander, and
Tommy Stalnaker, Houston County Board of Commissioners chairman, will provide remarks at the service. Robins Honor Guard will perform a 21-gun salute followed by the playing of Taps.

To nominate a family member, friend or coworker go to and submit the nominee. The deadline for submissions is May 14.
