Robins AFB Commanders/Senior Executives, the 21st Century Partnership, and the Middle Georgia Regional Commission held an Air Force P-4 (public-public and public-private partnerships) Program Way Forward on October 31, 2017.  Fifty-seven Senior leaders from the base and Middle Georgia area were in attendance at the VECTR Center in Warner Robins to hear about partnerships already in place and potential partnerships being proposed for the future.  The partnerships between the base and local communities help to build deeper, more meaningful relationships and provide immeasurable intangible rewards, as well as savings to both the base and local communities.  One partnership that Colonel Lyle Drew, 78th Air Base Wing Commander, highlighted is the Robins Aero Club program that allows the public to learn to fly and obtain a private pilot’s license.  The P-4 teams will be working on new proposals for the future and Senior leaders plan to meet again in six months.
