WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The Robins Air Force Base spoke inside the Museum of Aviation on Thursday to discuss the latest on initiatives and other programs.
Colonel Lyle Drew spoke about how the Vector Center is helping military members transition into civilian life, as well as the economic impact that the base had last year.
A report shows a dramatic increase already from 2018.
“Last year our economic impact was $2.86 billion and this year we’re very excited to report that increased to $3.15 billion — an increase of $275 million, or 9.6 percent,” Drew said. “That is a huge increase if you think about — only 12 months of impact not only to the base, but to the community.”
