While in Washington, D.C. accepting the Great American Defense Community Award, Chrissy Miner and Dan Rhoades from the 21st Century Partnership also had the opportunity to meet with Second Lady Pence and tell her the great things Middle Georgia is doing. Her signature legislation agenda is military spouses and licensure reciprocity. The Partnership was able to let her know Middle Georgia and the State of Georgia are working to provide reciprocity for military spouses, working with the US Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce through the US Chamber’s Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zones program.
